Questions and answers

Straight answers
to common questions.

How working with Grove begins, what we do and do not do, and how planning updates by text work.

Working with Grove

01What does Grove Wealth Solutions do?

Grove helps individuals, families and business owners plan their finances as one connected whole: cash flow, retirement, investments, taxes, estate and family decisions, weighed together rather than one account at a time.

02Who do you usually work with?

Professionals, couples and young families, business owners and people in the years around retirement. What they have in common is more than one moving part and a wish to see how the parts fit.

03What happens in a first conversation?

We talk about what you want your money to do, what is coming up and what worries you. It is also a chance for both sides to see whether working together makes sense.

04How are fees set?

Fees depend on the scope of the work and are agreed in writing before any work begins. The ways to work together page describes the kinds of engagement.

05Can we meet by phone or video?

Yes. Meetings are by appointment, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm EST, and most can take place by phone or video call.

What we do and do not do

01Do you prepare tax returns?

No. Grove plans the decisions that affect your taxes and works alongside your CPA or tax preparer, who prepares and files the return.

02Do you draft wills or trusts?

No. Grove reviews how your accounts are titled and who they name, and coordinates with your estate-planning attorney, who drafts the legal documents.

03Is the information on this website advice?

No. Everything on grovews.com is general and educational. Advice for your situation comes only from a conversation about your situation.

04Can you promise a result?

No one can promise investment results, and Grove does not. All investing involves risk, including the loss of money you put in. What a plan can do is make your choices deliberate and your trade-offs visible.

Texts and privacy

01What are planning updates by text?

Occasional text messages sent directly by Grove to people who opt in on the planning updates page or a contact form: reminders of common planning dates, new guides on this site, and replies about your sign-up or message. At most 4 texts a month.

02Will a text ever ask for account details?

No. A text from Grove never asks for account numbers, passwords or your Social Security number, and is never personal investment advice. If you receive one that does, do not reply; call us instead.

03How do I stop the texts?

Reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. You can also call or email us.

04Do you share my details?

No. Your personal information will not be sold or leased to any third party, and your mobile number and consent are not shared with anyone for marketing. The Privacy policy explains how they are kept.
